The playful artwork/sculptures of Lawndart Curtiss are currently on display in the Gateway Gallery of The Motion. Here is the artist’s statement:
Born from the desire to express a thought or tell a story in the fewest simple lines, my RL stick figure series is titled "Struggle of Life."
It was the desire to blend my RL art with SL that led me to the 3D stick figures that are popping up all over SL.

My SL stick figure installations are all unique to the space. They are designed to fit the theme and feel of the environment. I like the viewer to participate in the pieces by interacting with them. Walk around them, use your camera to get a different perspective on them, take your photo with them, enjoy them uniquely.
The piece at Star Journey is intended to reflect a child like spirit. Each of the figure sets stand on their own but tie directly to the theme of the overall piece. and likewise to the entire concept of the reigon itsself.
But still asking the question, "Are we the creation, or the creators?"
