“Teaching With Technology” Conference hosts Sessions on Star Journey

Star Journey will present three sessions at the upcoming conference “Teaching and Learning with Technology” produced by UNC–Pembroke and held April 12–14 at their campus in Second Life. With one session each day, Dr. Sonya Hardin, associate nursing professor at UNC, will co-present with Richard Geer, system author.  “Star Journey – An Island of Knowing” will show attendees both how Star Journey works for self reflection … and how it can enhance the learning experience in many fields of study.

“This is a wonderful opportunity,” says Dr. Hardin, “for educators from around the world to have a first-hand experience with this multi-dimensional tool. It has applications in many disciplines – Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy Music, Art, and many others.”

Dr. Hardin adds, “And whether a teacher or a student, an individual or a couple, we all have our challenges to face. The Star Journey method helps identify underlying issues, develop a more positive viewpoint, and come away with a plan of action for improvement and change.”
