Star Journey began with my own work, and although that has already spanned many years, there is more to come and more to be discovered about the system. Star Journey is still emerging, from today’s culture and the people within it. The inspiration that originally came to me continues. The symbolism is now moving into further expressions — due to new ideas, new mediums, and new technologies. You may glimpse a piece of the puzzle as you read this, connections you see for another step we can take together, as our creativity unfolds and knowledge of the self increases.
The uses and applications of Star Journey continue to broaden. A businessman selects a symbol to help maintain a certain attitude during a merger. A dance-therapy class uses the symbols for meaningful content in improvisational exercises. Battered children find safe ways to express their confusion about family life. And a company’s sales staff gets to know each other by choosing symbols to describe themselves.
In increasing numbers, people around the world in varied walks of life use these same symbols to gain their own insights. Star Journey is a creative work. It was dreamed and developed by one person who is quite human. Although I believe it does have a profound and deep source, and an enduring place in the world, it is ultimately in your hands to determine its lasting value. At the very least, the system is a new context from which to view our lives, a context which allows for further input as time goes on.
