Richard H. Geer, BA
Developer of the Star Journey methodology and author of three books on the tool. Richard’s history with Star Journey spans 40 years, including writing, design and other development, giving presentations, teaching groups, and coaching and training individuals. You’ll find Richard to be sensitive to the needs of the individual, supportive, and at the same time guiding one to deep insights using the symbol method. Richard is a graduate of University of California–Davis.
Gerry Marr, MA, MFT
Gerry has been a student and a teacher of Star Journey for over 35 years. He actively uses this methodology in his professional cousneling and psychotherapy, with special emphasis on the unique issues of adolescents and families. Gerry received his MA in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, California.
Sonya Hardin, PhD, RN, NP
With over twenty years working and teaching in nursing and health care, Sonya is highly experienced in the special issues facing both students and health care professionals. Sonya is caring, insightful, and a gifted mentor. She is Professor of Nursing at University of North Carolina–Charlotte, and she was named "Nursing Educator of the Year" in 2008 by medical pusblisher Gannett Corporation.
Vanessa Taylor
A resident of South Australia, Vanessa utilizes both Skype and Second Life to interact, support and coach people around the globe. It was her vision of Richard’s work that translated Star Journey into the interactive and inspirational island in virtual world Second Life. Vanessa’s caring and positive approach has been uplifting for all who know her.
Linda Lott, RN
Linda has over 20 years expereince in the nursing field and currently works in a university health center. She has been active with Star Journey for the past three years, coaching individuals and teacing Star Journey using the vitrual world environment, Star Journey island in Second Life. Here she coaches and mentors people from all over the world, from many different cultures, ages and ethnic groups.
