There’s a reason she’s called Queen in the group. Rebel has led the building of Star Journey in Second Life. She worked with Starman (Geer) to translate his vision and symbol system into the 3-D interactive format of Second Life, and they formed a partnership. Rebel worked to determine design of the island and its functionality, and she developed a comprehensive business model.

Rebel also helped recruit other team members, coordinated daily work for the several month of production, and she was an impetus and inspiration to all on the team, always seeing every task was accomplished.

Reb entered SL almost 2 years ago to see if it would be good for her client. It wasn’t.

However Reb recognized that she had entered the internet of tomorrow, even though it was still just a child. She set out to learn all she could about how it worked, why it worked, why some places were popular and others stood empty. A million other questions, nearly 2 years continued exploration, listening and learning have passed by, yet she still remains fascinated by the sheer possibilities and creativity to be found in Second Life.

The Star Journey build and business model draws heavily on that research and understanding, coupled with her own (Vanessa’s Taylor’s) RL skills in business development and management.
