The question I asked was for guidance, direction in order to find my next source of revenue — what I got was each of the three elements — no guidance except to see that the cards got the question.  Probably too dense to see it!

"The Prayer"

Star

The Star of Hope is a passive energy, epitomized by "The Prayer," a being who waits for action to come from outside itself. The energy is TRUSTING, a faith in a higher or wiser source, a surrender of will.

In the picture, the Star’s center is shown as receptive, expecting energy from outside itself; yet it emits a steady, secure radiance.

The Star of Hope is shared between the eighth and ninth Houses. Therefore, the energy of "The Prayer" is part of "I CARE" and "I REALIZE." It also creates the light of the Sea of Pyramids (viii).

The Problem

Star (77)

Sign

This is that lofty brand of fulfillment whereby reaching for the stars, truly seeking, results in constant discovery. The aspiring soul, because it dares to reach and seek the heights, is rewarded with bountiful sights.

The Star is in the House of The Spirit Incarnate (V), and it represents the fulfillment of "I PROJECT."

The Goal

Cake (74)

Sign

This is the "goodie" card. To know I’ve made it, I want all the goodies. This is a tall order calling for material reward, a return on all investments — with interest — and physical satisfaction, complete with luxury, comforts and pleasure. The Cake is no subtle hint about human preoccupations, yet each of us seeks our share of comforts and the stability of having resources.

The Cake is in the House of The Matrix (II), and it represents the fulfillment of "I WANT."
