The Symbol Cards
The Star Journey Symbol Cards contain simple, everyday symbols. The symbols are actual archetypes, and in Star Journey represent parts of oneself. They help to explore thoughts, associations and feelings related to real life situations.
For example, consider the symbol the Block. This can be seen as something blocking you on your path. But the same symbol can also be changed in meaning to a stepping stone or building block. The meaning lies in one’s choice of perception.

The Symbol Cards
The Star Journey Symbol Cards contain simple, everyday symbols. The symbols are actual archetypes, and in Star Journey represent parts of oneself. They help to explore thoughts, associations and feelings related to real life situations.

In addition, each Symbol Card has a corresponding position within the system’s Circle Pattern. For example, Card 58 the Block is shown here with its position marked on the map. It contains a purple-colored icon denoting it is at the Keys level on the pattern. You ‘ll discover what this Level is all about as part of learning about using Star Journey‘s cards.

It demonstrates connectedness and relationships between different parts of ourselves (which the cards depict), that could not be seen with the cards alone. The multi-colored and multi-level geometry of the Circle Pattern allows for infinite degrees of interpretation.

Choosing Your Path
Star Journey can be used in simple spread arrangements to explore any aspect of your life. Doing so reveals the underlying dynamics of situations, giving you an advantage in making decisions, solving problems and exploring relationships.
Interpretation can be self-styled, and can be explored in any manner that suits you.

The Journeys
The three main card spreads or “Journeys” provided within Star Journey reveal
different personal dynamics. They are:
- Goal Journey: Discover insights about attaining your goal in a personal area,
about overcoming a problem, as well as picturing your own position in the matter. - Transition Journey: Manage change in your life and steer to your desired
outcome. - Personal Portrait: Manage change in a certain area of your life, and learn how to
steer to your desired outcome.
Please note that the physical Star Journey Symbol Card set focuses on the simple three-card Goal Journey (as are most of the writings about the Star Journey system). The Transition Journey and Personal Portrait may be new to some, and these are shown and explained in the Online Tools.

Interpretation
The elements on the cards – pictures, words, Levels – are all designed to trigger
inner responses from both your left and right brain (your creative and logical
minds).
Though the cards and system can be used and interpreted in an infinite number of ways, we recommend those new to Star Journey utilize the Six Step Guided Process for Interpretation, reflection and action – found within all product instructions.
In addition, creative visualization of the Symbols can be employed to reveal a
picture of the inner dynamics of a personal situation, as well as creating a positive picture and plan of action for improving that aspect of your life.

reflection to see how you and your situation have changed.
