The American Cancer Society and Friends Fighting Cancer (FFC) receive many contributions and much support from the Second Life community. Already this year, over $L2,000,000 has been raised by the FFC Team, which is $7500 USD.

Star Journey island is pleased to be assisting efforts for the ACS 2009 Relay For Life and FFC. A special shop has been set up that floats above the center of the island, with three levels plus a platform suspended over a sea with approved vendors with items for sale. Our own RebelMum Slade, who arranged Star Journey’s particpation, is also an executive of the 2009 Fantasy Faire, a nine island fund-raising exposition held in June, and she’s an officer in the FFC Group.
